Tobacco Regions
Tobacco is grown all around the world in over 120 countries. The largest producer of tobacco is China; they produce over 1/3 of the world’s total production. Brazil is the second largest producer and India is the third, followed by the US. In some of the smaller countries such as Cuba and the Dominican Republic tobacco production is a very important part of their economy.
